Bus from Salvador. Awoke at 4.30 when we arrived in Lençóis. Got a room at Bela Vista. Slept a few hours. Breakfast at 9. Nice room with a view over the entire city. Met Janaina, Alexandre, and Flavio from Maceió. Two English teachers and a girl studing to be a social worker. Went with them on a day trip to the cave Lapa Doce and the lake Prahinha north of Chapada Diamantina. Nice people - a lot of talk about Brazil, Sweden and the rest of the world. Did some shopping back in Lençóis. Nice atmosphere with different types of music in every corner of the city. Celebrated New Year at the town square. Fell alseep full with new impressions from Lençóis the last 24 hours.

Bussen från Salvador. Vaknade 4.30 på framme i Lençóis. Fick rum på Bela Vista. Sov några timmar. Frukost vid 9. Mysigt rum med vy över hela stan. Träffade Janaina, Alexandre och Flavio från Maceió. Två engelsklärare och en tjej som studerar till socialarbetare. Följde med dem på dagstur till grottan Lapa Doce och sjön Prahinha norr om Chapada Diamantina. Trevliga människor - mycket prat om Brasilien, Sverige och övriga världen. Shoppade lite när vi kom tillbaka till Lençóis. Mysigt med olika typer av musik i varje hörn av staden. Firade nyår på torget i Lençóis. Somnade full med nya intryck från Lençóis de senaste 24 timmarna.
